If we choose to look at the simple truth of it all, "the cause" looks like a pretty sorry joke right now. All "the cause" has accomplished to date is infuriating and alienating people who previously very much wanted to buy their coins. The would-be buyers got a good taste of the bureaucratic ineptitude and constipation "the cause" obviously suffers from and they're getting turned off bad. Read the posts in this thread from start to end and you'll see that transition fully documented. If you're trying to run an anti-establishment "cause," Rule #1 is "Don't drive away the would-be followers."
I personally doubt it, but maybe someday "the cause" will be worthy of being called a "cause." Right now "the cause" is just one more fuzzy-headed, pointless anti-establishment joke. It makes me think of the hippies of 40 years ago.

Now they've suspended all sales until March 22, I guess so they can catch up on orders.

I know there have been a lot of delays, but they were only anticipating on selling a few thousand, not tens of thousands of rounds, I haven't bought any yet, but if I do, it'l be through provident or some other online dealer. I think they'll work this out soon.

Regardless of how many rounds they anticipated selling, they handled the situation poorly to put it mildly. 41 days and counting since I placed my order and it still hasn't shipped.

Ok so today they told me my order placed on 1/30 should be shipped by the end of the week, at this point I think I would be happy with that. This is despite the fact that they told me last Thursday that it would ship by this past St. Pattys day weekend, oh well. The lady also told me me the order I placed on 2/6 should ship by the end of the month, crazy. I mean really do they really think that a 2 month plus turnaround is non-satisfactory?

i didn't buy much but I placed my order on 2/14 and they came in the mail yesterday.

These are pretty silly - I might have gotten the second one but I hate that fake-fantasy font. It's no Papyrus, but if I've seen a font used on a fantasy novel for tweens, I don't want anything to do with it.
I've actually seen a few independent bullion rounds ruined by poor typography. Maybe picking bad fonts comes with the anti-authority package.

I don't understand the concept. Is it something anti-establishment? If so, why are people getting upset that the orders take a long time and the rounds are dinged up?

I ordered a couple freedom girls the first day. When I got them - after more than a month or so - I was still in an understanding mood. Durin that time I was not reading this thread. I had contacted them via website and once had gotten a "within 24 hour response" after only 2 days. The next one was 3 days.
When they got here, the copper Death and Taxes medallion was/is tarnished like someone smudged it with a big fingerprint or something right on the effigy's top hat.
I contacted them and they said that they would ship me another one if I retuned the tarnished one and... get this ... they would put the cost of my shipping towards a future order I place with them.
Um... can we say "presumptuous?" (I wanted to say arrogant, but its a bit rough)
So I contacted them via website again and never got my "within 24 hour response." So I waited - for ~2 weeks and still it never came.
So I got on them with their online chat - in fact am on it as I type this. I started at 12:31. It is now 2:05 and I have had 4 exchanges of information back and forth, and one of those was the representative repeating a question they had already asked me - and giving them the same reply while asking why they had asked me this again!
The last chat message I got from them is that they will pass this on to their bosses.
Uh huh...
So I just chatted back by asking what resolution - and when - can I expect to see?

Sodude, I don't understand. Are you suggesting people shouldn't be annoyed about having to wait weeks or months longer than promised to receive something that is already paid in full and is of a lesser quality than advertised?

I guess " lesson not learned "
