I have a huge bucket of Wheats that were part of the family hoard that I have yet to even look through, and I don't usually error search all my coins, aside from morgan VAM's.. or if I find a WAM or something in my pocket I keep it, but with a 10 month old daughter at home I just don't have the time to go through a bucket of wheats one by one yet. theres actually only a few whear errors I even know of (obviously the 55) But this one that was right on top caught my eye the other night when I moved the bucket so I grabbed it. It appears to be a lamination error?

If it is, I'd assume it isn't worth much, but I'm in the prosess of cataloging my entire collection in case (god forbid) something happens to me my fiance has an idea of what to sell my collection for, if she chooses to. I just dont know if I should put it in a 2x2 or just toss it back into the rest? So any opinions and possible price would be greatly appreciated!

Looks like it could be a LAM and a nice sized one at that. What is that under the word LIBERTY?

Check out completed listings on ebay to get an idea of prices...offhand I'd say $4-5.

John1- lol, I think it's a dog hair... My staffy thinks she's a lap dog... I just looked at it and there's nothing there so that'd be my best guess...

Ya, it does seem like a pretty large one, thanks guys. This one wont be going back in the bucket.. Lol. Wow, $4-$5, I had no idea they could be worth even that! I wish I had more free time so I could go through the bucket 1 at a time.. There's like 800, all that my gramps pulled from circulation way back when.. He passed in '92, and until my mom gave them to me they sat in a closet, so these are actually un-searched..

NathanASE,

Find the time to go through them one at a time. I grab a small handful and try to survey each one. So far I've spent around 5 weeks going through a 5K hoard. I still have about 700-800 remaining. If you find some more oddities, be sure to let us see them.
