Wow!(not quite a "retirement"find LOL) I found three Wheaties this week Two, came in the same change a 35S and a 38S! Both are at least VF. The third was a 46D in VF as well. It's been a while since I ran across anything that old in change. Mike Keep looking folks, you just never know!!!!!

That's exactly right- you never know. That's why I spend all that time going through the coin that comes in to see if anything good is in there. I'm probably not going to find that 1909-SVDB cent, but how will I know it's not in there if I don't look?

So correct! Too often collector's overlook the coins that they carry in their pocket. Anyone remember the lady that found the Cent/Dime mule? You never know what will pop up.

Too bad it's just a picture on the computer and not the real thing!! I do have a birthday coming up- if everyone chips in.... HA!

I found a 1943-S nickel in someone's change today, that's the first thing I've found in a while that's worth bragging about.

Good job Kyra! I've found a few War Nickels myself. They have a certain look to them.

Take a look at this War Nickel, caught my eye instantly (obviuosly) since it was the only coin returned as change-It is a 1944 P which both date & mint mark are still readable-What yawl think its grade is?. Since date and MM readable, I would venture fair to AG?
