@eddio : I can't. Copyrighted by this website. I could do it if: 1. I receive the pictures by email or 2. I have the written permission of the owner or 3. The pictures are posted on CoinsAndCanada.com.

Thank you all for your kind words.
Rest in Peace

When checking ebay results for pricing results for any item, you also have to take into account that not every buyer is searching on ebay every day or even every week. I recently sold an item which I had listed several months ago at $39.00 for a starting price. It went unsold each time that I re-listed it about 7 or 8 times. It has now sold and the selling price was $71.00 .... this has happened to me on multiple occasions in the past 14 years of selling on ebay.

@DBM: Members and visitors help me a lot with articles, errors and varieties pictures, and some other sections of the website (thanks to all of them!). The Price Guide is updated by me only. I had offers to help me with that, but always declined.

I use them occasionally, I find it an o.k, quick online resource. The truth is that all references are most likely backed by dealers to some capacity. Research and the market trends are your best resources to find prices, anything is only worth what people are willing to pay in regard to a collectables market.

I use CaC for a quick reference on more common coins which has proved relatively safe. For scarce and rare coins I will use multiple sources to gauge a value and set my top price by a mean of the prices quoted by grade. This system works for me. My rule of thumb is never pay more than EF for a coin I am purchasing online even if I really want it.

Welcome to CCF Carpman.... I know you have been lurking here a while...

Hopefully Bill will not accidently turn your handle into something immensely humorous (again)... Zonad, t_y and I still find that old CCRS slip-up funny!!

LightW4re, I would like to thank you for the work you do on your website. As someone who is brand new to coins your website has been a massive help in cataloguing a collection that I inherited. It is a great site and I use it all the time.

Nobody seems to know what happened, but many are using the French site now (I am). Here's a link to a current discussion on the subject:
