They were available today at the Ottawa boutique and mine should arrive tomorrow.

Hopefully, we can get a discussion going about the attributes of some of these coins rather than the seeming constant and often tedious 'investment potential' discussions.

You seem to be in a very optimistic mood today. Lol.
I'm not so much. Way to much profit talk for me.

I wish I could see these coins at a boutique. Unfortunately not enough to go around.
I figured calgary would be a perfect spot,,, with the way us Albertans throw our $$ around.

Back to actually coin collecting, the Arctic Fox looks nice. I am going to pick up one of those after seeing it today.

Don't come in and rudely comment about our conversation. If you have something to contribute that doesn't include profit,, by all means say it. If not,, head to another thread. That comment is unnecessary.

If you read, my comment was actually talking about a coin. I don't see how me talking about the Fox coin being nice and wanting to pick one up an unnecessary comment.

The rude part was saying " back to actually coin collecting"
That was taken by me as "stop discussing non coin matter, and get on with the topic"
To me, this forum isn't about just collecting, it's about socializing as well. And when I feel that someone is saying "stop talking" it doesn't sit well with me.

Hey Taro Chan I didn't read anything bad into your comments. I think Coin Chick just got up on the wrong side of the bed today. Cut her some slack till she's had her first cup-a-joe ;)

I agree with you about the Arctic Fox. Very nice design, and a nice product overall.

I think Taro-chan was responding more to my hope for coin discussion rather than pointing out that we veered a little off topic. At least that's how I took his comment.

So since few of us have actually seen the silver (or gold) fox, what is it that makes it nice?

Frankly, the mint images don't appeal to me but often one has to see a coin in 3 dimensions to appreciate it. I can't quite figure out what the image is supposed to be. Sure there is an odd looking fox but what is all that other stuff supposed to be? Sun? Heat vapour lines? To me, the fox looks like he has a cartoon turkey's fan tail.
