It's an Austrian coin of Ferdinand II.

From what is left of the coin, it would appear to be Austria, Ferdinand II (1619-1637), 3 Kreuzer,around 1625, Graz Mint (the letters YRIA are visible indicating the province of Styria). This link will give a little more info.:-

Cheers! It was being listed on ebay as a British coin and I was quite tempted. It looked a bit James I/Charles I, but though I'd check.

Thanks again for saving me from a coin I wouldn't have wanted!
