Square rigged ships always turn out well on coins.
Why not search World coins and get them all?
There is not very many types to collect.

Id love to actually just have no clue where to start. I even searched my child hood coin collection my dad brought me from all over the world during his time in the military and no luck on the new zeland coins. Lots of Aussie stuff and a bunch of Asian coins I cant read and have no clue where theyre from

I betcha some kiwis here on CCF would send you a few if you ask nicely and tell them the All Blacks are far superior to the Lions.

I've always found foreign currency to be 'prettier' than US currency. Not so much the coins (although the recent revamps have been great), but I've always found our paper money to be really ugly. Even with the addition of colors the last few years hasn't helped them.

This made me cackle out loud in the office....

Oh and I'll be right there with basebal21 looking for some of the NZ coins shown (once I reach the threshold)!

The thing to do is petition the government to put your own face on your own coins.

I just picked up a proof set of NZ coins on ebay so soon I should have that beautiful 50c piece in hand

As for the U.S. coins, I got one of the 2009 Lincoln cents on the weekend from one of my last Canadian rolls so I was happy about that too :)
