Quick question robster is there more light reflecting off the obv. than the rev. and if so is that more or less by chance? I get the sense I can see more detail on the rev. because the reflections obscure some of the detail on the obv. Does that make sense?

Both halfpennies look great Robster, love the error 49 and the 34 is a cracka!

Spg1, what a great set of errors! Did you buy them as such, have them passed on or find them in bulk lots?

I think these were old purchases - not sure if they were ebay or coin shows.

They are certainly beauts!

I thought you may have had a noodler from the pre-decimal days in the family.

There's some real nice coins being shown on this thread!

Cool lamination Robster!

Appleangel, that 1948 is a ripper! (Never seen so many repeated strikes).
