I was just wondering before this coin is conserved if you think there could be another 3 in the field above the normal three.. the coin has some huge die cracks and was wondering if it could be part of the die damage

Could well be. I am not familiar with the issue but the first photo you posted seems to show signs of a double strike.

I have yet to find one without massive die cracks.
