OK, so I got a penny from my teacher, since she knows that I am coin collector. She gave me 1960 Penny and I m not sure if this is error or something...

A closer picture of the area in question would help.

It looks like I can still see denticles on the reverse in the middle of the affected area.

Post mint damage means damage that has occurred after the coin has left the mint.
Examples of PMD could be:
- chemical damage; corrosion.
- physical damage (i.e.: Hit with hard object, crushing, bending, grinding, cutting.)
Those would not be good things.
