If the Mint has already released the coin, why is it against forum rules to post a picture?

Ottawa boutique does not have one as of today. I find that odd as the striking of precious metal is done in the same building

I find it disturbing that the Mint is blocking us from seeing the coin, but wants us to buy it.
The Mint has officially announced the coin to all public, everything is now OFFICIAL, are we going to be a coin forum, post pictures, and discuss the coin, or are we just going to police this forum to extinction?

I don't think there are any pictures it's all talk coins have been announced with pictures and people have already paid for them with their credit cards days ago so there is no reason they cannot be posted. If their are pics put them up or shut up.

I hope this coin this coin looks good in person as I'm not impressed with the pics. With that said I've held off on buying one until I see one in person!

@Rockdaddy: With regards to not placing a limit on this coin, one thing to consider is that the Mint WANTS to turn this into a series... but they really won't be able to unless it sells very well. By not having a limit they are maybe trying to increase the chances that it will sell out, and therefore prolong the series. Once they have a "sold out" first coin they will likely implement limits on subsequent issues (i.e. like the glass coins, the dinos, etc.).

They should start out the series with mintage 5000 to guarantee the success of the series
