What I do like is that this box can only be used for this set because there's a huge spot in it for the duck call. The Group of 7 box is like that too and that box is selling for around $200 on it's own because it's rare. This box might go the same way. Not same value but could be $100 box if this set is popular.

I wonder if the fact that people are buying up lots of them to flip will have an impact on that. It's a good point though! Now that people know the box can be valuable I wonder what kind of impact that will have on the value of it.

I'm thinking that when duck hunters, Ducks Unlimited people see this set, there will be a nice demand for it. I did a small search to look for any previous duck coins and didn't find anything like this. Some one off duck coins but nothing as a set and with coloured coins.

It is certainly going to be interesting to watch the next little while. Also interested to see how the dragonfly does. Sounds like from those that have seen the coin it will be a hit.

I assume the new coins will show up on the front page when they are up for sale to the general public?

It's question hour.. here's another. Is it possible to cancel a partial order without cancelling the whole order if one calls in to the mint rather than doing it online?

It's true but you can get a pretty good idea based on the chatter in these forums.
Ps. elkslayer132 I really enjoy looking at the coins you have for sale. If I had the money I'd be buying them all up! lol

I think it's fair to say that a good number of purchasers have an eye on reselling the sets as soon as it makes sense to do so.

The flood gates have opened. My guess is still the ducks will sell out by Tuesday midnight. Maybe even sooner if people call the mint in the morning and early afternoon.

I bought the Duck series, the so-called 25 cent Mallard, the American Robin & the hologram dragonfly (Twelve-spotted Skimmer), good for a total of 209 before taxes, so was able to use the free shipping promotional code for orders over $200.00.
The Mint is claiming all except the dragonfly will ship on 12 March on my order form, and the dragonfly on 17 April. I won't hold my breath! LOL
