1916 Mercury Dime D Or S? - Coin Community Forum

RK55 Pillar of the Community United States 2189 Posts	Posted 03/01/2013 09:56 am I am leaning towards a "D". It looks similar to the die 1, there is a lot of wear so maybe my eyes are being tricked. I hope it's a D! after reviewing photos on the net of D and S Mint marks, it appears the mint mark is too far away from the bottom the branch stem, die 4 on the D has that distance but the position of the D is different.
