Quote: Multiple accounts. I suppose but that's not cost effective. 7.99 shipping per each roll adds up very quickly. More realistically is ordering from Colonial Acres and Gatewest when they had it for sale a 9.95. That's what I did...

Also visit the Mint boutiques, bring friends, family members if they limited 1 per customer.
Again, lucky for those have Mint boutiques in their area.

For those who were asking... Yes, this is my listing: http://www.ebay.com/itm/2012-CANADA...t_810wt_1165I got so many through buying from multiple sources early on.... Mint, GW, CA, and ebay (from people who had got them from Mint boutiques). Some of the rolls I bought at issue, some I paid considerably more for.... but (as I've stated before) that I think these are going to continue to do well, so it was worth the additional cost.

@wettld2, I have to tip my hat off to you. I can imagine how much work it involves.

@RMC.... it may be a bit pricey, but that's because I am simply not willing to sell them for less. I think that they will hit within that price range once the Mint finishes shipping them out. Also, compared to other items I usually buy from the Mint the investment per item is relatively low, so not much risk holding them long term if I need to.
@tocoins: Thanks... it really was a lot of work!

Mostly the way you can get roll number 1, 2012, 20000 is by being in the Mint as an employee and buying for yourself.

@CanadianCoins1999, I would assume there're protocols in place within the mint to prevent such insider behaviors.

Thanks RMC. I didn't take your comment personally, but I just wanted to clarify my position for others reading this thread.

@tocoins: I would hope that you are right.... but I don't have too much faith in the Mint. I do know that Mint reps were able to reserve multiple rolls of the special wrapped pennies months before they were even known to the public.

the person with the 20000 roll # mentioned that he is a canada post dealer and ordered like 40 rolls with this one among them. I just recently received #1 of the 5oz. silver maple leaf. my guess is there are no logic in the RCM shipping policies

Note sure which penny thread to post this in but there is a BIN for multi rolls. $37 delivered - 28 plus 9 shipping. Considering, most non MC paid $20 plus from the mint, that seems like a reasonable price especially if you get combined shipping on multiple rolls. Even free pickup in Ottawa. Not my auction nor do I know the seller. http://www.ebay.com/itm/2012-Canada...em3ccf747d57
