1942 Copper 5 Cent - Coin Community Forum

CanadianCollector Valued Member Canada 306 Posts	Posted 03/09/2013 9:23 pm Tombac was used in place of nickel from partway through 1942 and all of 1943. (there is a single 1944 tombac error made) Once they circulated they darkened to the colour yours has. When new they were a shiny golden colour like this one. Report this Post to the Staff
