I chose the "pick up" option even though it was free shipping. Figured it would be a nice excuse to see what their store is like. I also ordered a canopy from them on a separate order before they went up from 99. Commonnnn CCC! haha

(Not sure how to do the blocked Quote thingie):

That is super cool to send an idea, even if it took 2 years! I would like to see a silver hologram peacock coin!

I sent an email to the contact us email on the mint website suggesting something for the farewell to the penny when they came out with the fact it was stopping production. About a week later I had someone respond with the actual process of how the average person could do it and like true government form was a whole process. Do-able if you really want to have the coin and have the time but more effort than I cared to spare at the time.
I think a hologram peacock would make for a great looking coin!!

Yea bigspender, I went to their store front once and was amazed by it. I had never been in a coin store like that before, with the security doors and the huge penny in the floor (made of tons of circulation pennies that I would love to have).
I ordered the canopy coin from them as well for $99 and was charged for that the next day. I hope the butterfly and canopy arrive together, they will definitely be my two new best looking coins. Well I do love the Untamed Arctic Fox coin.

@aswitzer, how many butterfly coins did CCC have available? How do you know that an order in the 5800's is a safe order #?
@EOCanuck, thanks for the info! Sounds like a lot of work but I'll look into it! Might be worth the effort...

Allspice, I have no idea how many butterfly coins CC&C had available during their sale at issue price. But I figured that if my order number is in the lower 5800's and someone else's is in the mid 5800's, then they are probably good. Those orders are close.
Edit: Congrats elkslayer. How many did you get at issue price?

They did cancel orders that were double ordered. They emailed the people however to at least let them know and I think they still honoured the first order. In my books this seems like a very legitimate company so far. I am thus far impressed!
Can't wait to visit their store now!! :)
