Well this first step is to try and understand what kind of coin your looking at. Here is a clue it is from India, but it is NOT a coin of the Gupta Empire although it looks like one...

I figured that one out. It's such a vast empire and I still can't tell the differences in the script. I'll keep looking. I like the challenge.
