I just called and ordered 2 silver eagles.
Waited less than 5 minutes.
I missed the glass butterfly last month because I was flying to Washinton DC.
I don't expect this one to have the same pandemonium as the butterfly but didn't want to risk getting shut out on the only coin that interests me this month.

Did you have a rep when you call Soulbrother. I do not have a rep and the guy said my status is not able to order the coin right now!

I was told the Eagle is a "custom product", so I guess part of the mintage was sold from the very beginning.

I don't have a rep.
He did however put me on hold and came back and told me he could process my order after taking my information.
I guess he had to check my "status".
Really nice guy. We spoke about other coins for a little while.
I've probably spent about $2,000 in the last year at the mint I would guess (need to keep better records).

What is the mintage of this Eagle coin? What is it about?

The e-mail doesn't say much about it. Just a 1 oz fine silver coin - mintage is 7500. I like the look of it, and ordered 2.

I do not familiar with their internal logic or rules, but SoulBrothe's order treated proper way.
I do not believe that the MC release tomorrow, if rep tell that the status isn't enough for ordering, I would expect that he will say what is the criteria.

Once, couple of month earlier, if you remember, was a case, when coins appeared on the website, but button "add to cart" was missing - I called Mint to place an order and some of the reps told me that, the release "tomorrow".

Such of low professionalism. Or by agent himself, or they have been told to say it.

As previously, near 13:00 coins are there.

I am sure that is a copy and paste error.

If I had to guess, I think the RCM web site has a typo. I don't believe this coin is a full ounce of silver. The RCM's other 27mm, $3 silver coins contain 1/4 ounce of silver (for example, the recent Bee & Hive coin).
