I see that most of the "good" coins are going to be sold out before they are released to the public (I'm not a MC member), will be tough to get MC status as it looks like the only way is to buy a lot of the "unwanted" coins to get to $1000.  Edited by rp14

rp 14> It may take a little work getting there, but once you are in, it doesn't seem to be too hard to stay! I just did a spreadsheet tracking my RCM orders and they have grown exponentially over the last 4 years. Before becoming a MC member I spread my purchases out among RCM, online dealers, ebay and Canada Post - depending on the availability and shipping costs. Now, with free shipping and access to coins before sellout, all of my new release purchases are done through RCM - and I tend to buy more overall because of it. I have to say it was a 1914 $5 that put me into MC status and since then I have spent over $2k.

Anyone order the maple of silver coin - of peace: elephant. Does this one have a hologram? Thinking that an elephant coin would be pretty special... anyone know the mintage? Is it still available?  |

The mintage is 8888 and it is currently still available for MC. Chances are, it will still be available to public. If you missed it in RCM, try Canada Post.
