CC&C, Talisman and Gateway listed new releases too. The Eagle avalable for issue price on CC&C, and appears as "Not Available" on Gatewest. All of them have Canada 2013 Blessings of Peace - Phoenix Firebird coin for issue (Talisman - below issue) price. And this one: 50c 2013 Silver-Plated Coin - 100 Blessings of Good Fortune (with the 'fu') I see on CC&C only, not on RCM website. Edited by Silveroid

I was really looking forward to this coin after I saw it on paper. I think it's fantastic looking, though am also confused as to what series the coin refers to. If I recall, there hasn't been a coin that has looked like this at all. |

So wrong that the mint allows up to 100% of stock to sell before public release. No more than 75% should be allowed to go to dealers/MC before the public are allowed access. Also, limits should be set on anything with lower than 10,000 mintage.

Does anyone else find it strange that CA and Gatewest are limiting the numbers of the new butterfly coins, while the RCM site still has them both, and with no limits? |

Perceived value: When you are limiting access to something, your perception is that it must be special/unique/highly sought after, this could be a factor to push your decision to buy if you are still indecisive (ie: Marketing gimmick!)
