Yes, it is my understanding you are suppose to send a cancellation request when you want to cancel a sale. I just can't below someone is willing to take the hit over a few dollars. I would never consider doing something like that for a few bucks, a few hundred maybe. I can't believe they would actually re-list it right way. You should open a case since this is breach of contract. I understand that mistakes happen but this person was expecting more for the coin.

Technically you could sue them for breech of contract since an ebay sale is a contract
