@Canadian_coins: Thanks for ebay info, I have won auctions from the past & then stopped buying for some time. I recently have won auctions for new 2013 25th anniversary silver maple leaf NGC Gem Uncirculated for the $29-$30 USD range with free shipping to US. I will try to sell some of my items on ebay the next time they offer free selling (not sure how often they do that). Great price on the 25th anniversary SML slabbed by NGC in the Gem Uncirculated, IMO.

Noticed that the designer of the new $100-for-$100 eagle coin is Claudio D'Angelo, the same artist who created the designs for last year's Bald Eagle series. I thought the photorealistic artwork on those coins was outstanding, and believe that he has "done it again" for this new eagle coin.

I wasn't planning on picking up one of the new $100 coins (I haven't purchased any of the previous coins), but I may have to take the plunge and order one of these as a companion to my 2013 Bald Eagles coins.

It's hard to tell from the Mint's images but the quality of Big Horn sheep looks very good compared to the first three in the series. The relief looks higher and the details looks sharper. Hope the actual coin is the same. I find the 100/100 are not general well done in terms of translating the image to the coin.

I hope the coin doesn't disappointed me like the grizzly coin. Both the big horn sheep and the eagle looks good on the picture

Well I like the Bison and the Grizzly coins, but I guess it's a matter of taste.

Also, as I posted on the February release thread, I ordered an Eagle. Although it's not my favourite bird of prey, this design looks very appealing.

I like both designs as well, but I am leaning more towards the horned sheep coin. The image seems to really come to life. I thought the grizzly was nice as well. Although I didn't like the white foam acting as a back drop, it seemed distracting. Something about the contrast between that black felt and the shiny silver coin appeals to me.

IMO both of the coins look really nice! I love the $100 for $100 series so keep em coming! The eagle coin will fit in nicely with my 4 2013 eagle coins from RCM.

The single bald eagle coin is now up on the RCM site for ordering, as well as the subscription for both the bald eagle and the big horned sheep coins. The big horned sheep are slated for July. I've just ordered my bald eagle and am now anxiously awaiting its arrival.

Agreed the eagle fits in nicely with 2013 set, I just ordered the subscription. My SO is obsessed with big norm sheep so I am sure he love it. I am disappointed I didn't jump on the grizzly but I wasn't t liking it as much as the bison. Being only a few months into coin collecting I missed out on the Bison too. Eventually I will need to peruse the ebay listings.

I received mine today and the coin and the box really do look great, as CC's photos clearly show!

I only ordered it on Tuesday and it arrived on Friday with no warning. I guess I should not complain...

I got mine today too. Just an awesome coin, well worth the money. I posted a pic of the coin with my 2013 set and it looks as if it belonged in it all along.
