Quote:Again, this is a RCM coin but is commissioned by a Major American dealer, rumored to be APMEX. If this was commissioned by APMEX, wouldn't it be on their website for sale? I couldn't find it there, but I may be wrong. If I commissioned it, I'd want to be one of the first to sell it, along with the other dealers.

Quote: @Silveroid: That is my website actually :P. It's still a Beta site and I will definitely continue to work on it till perfection over the next few months Yes, I understood it. Have no time for participation on both resources, but have ability to monitor both. You were wondering that someone bought something from your site. And I thought, why you really do not have well organized site. You have the dealer status, I assuming you have in stock something, that each of us search on ebay etc..so why not to buy it from you - personally I prefer the seller that many people trust him.

Maybe someone should call APMEX and ask them!! That might answer the question,,, as long as they get a knowledgable person on the phone.

So what again is this series going to be called? Is it going to be all about the eagle? Also, I want this coin, was going to get one off ebay but notice now a member sells them and I would rather support a member, who other members can vouch for. BTW I am not doing an Ad here, I just noticed the thread and this coin was something I learned about via the world mint blog and was disappointed it sold out so fast! Does Singh ship to the US?

At least one US dealer has them (and APMEX is the rumours above are true). Interesting though. Had no idea this was an American bald eagle. http://www.talismancoins.com/servle...tail?no=2298This is the very first in the new American Bald Eagle Series, which will highlight the national bird of the United States of America from four different perspective. Four American Bald Eagle $20 Pure Silver Proof coins are planned (each with edge lettering): 1) Portrait of Power 2) Bald Eagle Pair 3) Deadly Hunter 4) Family of Eagles The Canadian Wildlife Exploration Program? Are they making it up as they go...like their list prices and super "savings"?

Here's a few thing about Talisman: 1. Their retail price is always give me the "where the heck you got this retail price from?" their sale price is usually the retial price of others. 2. If it is a hot coin and you purchased as pre-sale, don't expect to receive them. If you do, it's a bonus 3. Their product page always have lots of information and pictures but, like their retail prices, I sometime wonder where they get that info and is it reliable.

From tallisman website Quote: Investment Note - Both the Bull Moose and the Beaver $20 1 Ounce Pure Silver Proofs sold out at the Mint immediately and have appreciated significantly in a very short time. We expect the American Bald Eagles to perform likewise - and their mintage limits are only 7,500 each! If you want to get in on the ground floor, act now - do not delay! Funny. Last two completed sales on ebay for the beavers are $74 and $61. List price was 99.99. I wonder what their definition of appreciated is? lol

I understand that this American dealer is coming out with a special box and market the 4 coins as a boxed set.

Silvertowne is the dealer that commissioned this coin. They incorrectly claim to be the exclusive US dealer too, at least in the email I got.

I'll save a few of you from Googling ... http://www.silvertowne.com/c-686-20...f-power.aspxThe outer box look good too. The mint doesn't have a pic of that so I hope they use the same box. FYI, Silvertowne seems have about 1050 coins for sale included those that are graded.

If it is geared to the US market, that is not a bad thing. The US have 300+ million people. They have millions of coin collectors, so mintage of 7500 is quite low.
