only ten rolls for some silver? I've gone through a box and haven't found any silver! that was a couple months ago tho, I'll have to start searching again.

Oh yeah! War Nickels are a definite rush. I had a run of 10 1943 p before I got any other mintmark and date. Keep on searching my friend! :)

thanks guys! Yeah only 10 rolls bought! I get mostly wheat pannies in rolls of pennies consistantly and foriegn coins mixed in. This one gave me a rush for sure. I was giving up hope for a while and boom!, there it was :-)

The 2009 P&D have the lowest mintage for Jefferson nickels in 50 years (29.8M and 46.8M, respectively). You have to go back to the 1959-D (27.2M) to find a year/mintmark with lower mintage.

I've gone through box after box after box collecting my Jeff set and never ever found a War Nickel. Good job !
