I found this coin today but I don't know if it is worth anything. Or is this not a mint error? Sorry for the bad pictures! It's the left of this coin. Let me know what you think!   Edited by bluedragon

Hmm...I don't consider myself an expert...but it is interesting. It is hard to tell without a closer picture but the part on the left side looks like post mint damgage. I say this because the rim is damaged. I could be wrong. I'm sure more with more expertise will comment. But like I said...Im far from an expert.

It definitely looks like PMD to me. The coin has been oblonged slightly, perhaps by being squeezed in a vise |

Hmm that could be. Thanks for the info. I will love more opinions about this.

from what I see on that photo it does appear to have gone through some vice or clamping device. Can't imagine why or what someone was doing to make that. But keep it around just in case someone does know if it's a real error coin.

Yeah when I first saw this coin I knew the front looked like it and been stepped on or something. But the back has such a clean line! Though maybe for sure it was an error. But thanks for all the input! I will hold on to it for now. And keep digging!

Found a dime like that once looks like it was clamped and pinched with a junk pair of side cutting pliers
