Today I received a beautiful 1965 cent (unfortunately not pointed!) with a 135 degree rotation. This coin came from a trade set up at Coinexpo with another member of the forum. For those who remember the 25 cent brockage coin that I posted a few weeks ago....it now has a new home.

This is not at all common. I know of at least one other 1965 with a very large rotation. But just the three that I know.

Years back when I bought this coin off a dealer he told me he lucked out by finding a few different rotations in a new roll. This was the highest degree of rotation found.I did see hands on a 90 degree to the left that he had.

I know of a 1965 LB about 90 degrees to the left and another at 165 degrees to the left. I suspect these were progressively produced from a loosened die?
