Is there even any CCF protocol for reviewing complaints of such activity?

Doesn't it say somewhere that CCF isn't responsible for the transactions? The auction section is just there for something for the members to sell on, not something that is really part of the forum.

We can't be responsible for any trading activity which goes on here. We have neither the time or the ability to properly vet or approve buyers and sellers. With that said, we'll occasionally serve as intermediaries to hopefully grease the wheels of a transaction which went badly for one reason or another.

I'm guessing you were involved in making a purchase which the seller backed out of - you're not eligible to sell yourself yet - and although that's distasteful it isn't unheard-of. If you'd like to drop me a forum email regarding the matter, feel free.
