I have been having trouble PMing CCF members. When I click on the members log-in name, the website doesn't do anything. Windows acts like it is "thinking", and the little icon spins like it's going to open the window, but it never does. Is anyone else having this problem?

Do you have a blocker for ads? That is probably blocking the popup window where you type the message.
Either temporarily turn it off, or add CCF to the safe list.

I don't think that is the problem. I've also experienced the same problem, just trying to reply to topics. I've tried both from home and work, and experience the same problem. Fuzzy, right after I saw your response, I clicked on your profile link, and it opened up. When I try to open Bad Thad's profile for example, I just get the spinning icon...

I see that you are using Internet Explorer 8 on WinXP.

Upgrading is not an option for IE on WinXP, so you may want to consider Firefox or Chrome (if only to test this problem).

Firefox will show what it is waiting on in the lower left corner. That may provide a clue as to what is hanging.

Chrome does this also.

The odd thing about this, is that it always hasn't been this way. Up until a few weeks ago, I never experienced this issue...

My bias is obvious. I meant to say "they" will show.

I do use Chrome for many things, but CCF is not one of them.

Welcome to my world.

If I could get just one dollar for every time IE suddenly had a problem, I would have a lot of dollars.

Since I have all three browsers loaded, it is easy for me to try another browser. In your case, the first step might better be to clear your cache.
