1943 Over 43 Steel Cent?

I came across what appears to be a 1943 over 1943 steel cent. I was wondering if there were any known varieties with this error. I'll post pictures tomorrow morning my time. I took a picture and can see a strong 4 in the original 1943 but there is what appears to be a weaker 4 underneath that one. Any thoughts?

odd are - without images attached you probably wont get much response. its nearly impossible to offer an opinion - from a written description.

check coppercoins site, to see what is listed there.

Odds are it is Die Deterioration. 1943 was plagued with it.
