Let me start by saying I don't collect ancients, but they are really cool. What is the 3rd coin w/ the owl on the reverse? I find that one really interesting...

Those are some really nice coins, though I must say the Athenian owl looks odd. I have never seem one shaped that way.

Dave, as echizento pointed out, the second coin is an Athenian owl. In Greek mythology, Athena was the virgin goddess of wisdom - the "owl of Athena" or the "owl of Minerva" has been used as a symbol of knowledge and wisdom as well. Likely from about 400 BC.

Based on the style of the eye on the Athens I would place it between 393-294 BC. An intermediate style. I wish I had one of those Tarentum staters. The prices of these are like all over the place, some go for as much as $700 and as little as $150 in the same condition. I have been watching this type for sometime now. Very interesting.
What I think looks wacky is the Tyre Shekel, its oddly struck and the devices blend into the fields, this tells me its probably a Judean mint. Very nice.

There is no way that Athens Tetradrachm is worth. $800. Maybe $100 -$150. Off struck and with big counterstamp on the face. If the coin had no marks was on flan and had any crest with nice surfaces, it would be an $800 coin. Look at my $150 example...worth about $800-$1000. I hope this does not offend you, but some of the prices on Mullen coins for ancients is 2-5x what the coins is worth.

Not offended... I know my US coin and still learning ancients more and more about ancients. I do have access to a well known specialist and get "suggested" retail pricing from him. I was unsure how the counter stamp impacts value of the coin but appreciate your comments.

The counterstamp is less of an impact than the off struck flan. Many would prefer that the counterstamp be any where but Athena's face. So bankers in antiquity actually tried to test cut these along the owl's wing in order to preserve the device. Admittedly the oblong planchet is very attractive.
