Around the corner and across the creek from my house is a middle school, where I see kids playing and people walking ALL THE TIME. I decided today to go check it out with my detector and see if they left any monetary trace of their existence behind. The rain moved in and I had to bail pretty fast early on, so I came home with my (at the time) meager finds, but the rains let up (though they are back now) and I went back out. The two pics are my totals from the last two hours. I also found a lock, key and a Chuck-E-Cheese token dated 1997. Found $2.00 on the money. Pun intended. Not bad for a couple hours I suppose. I tell you, when the time comes where the U.S. embraces the dollar coin, this will become much more profitable. Next planned hunt is at the lake!

Though they were about 3 feet away from each other, they are not a matched set. I tried several times. :)

Nope, one dime I thought may be silver but it wasn't. When I dug it up I could see 196X on it. When I got it rinsed off, it was a 1965. So close.
