1971 Quarter Any one know what type of mechanical device may have caused 2 dimples, I've seen it a few times but don't know. I also "think I see Machine Doubling on the "E" in quarter, the "S" in States (or it's a ding mark)and the "O" on Dollar, the "L" has extra and the "A" is machine doubled as well it look. The obvious X just PMD I assume.

PSD. It looks like someone used a punch strike once on each side of the coin.

Looks like some either shot it with a BB gun or took a nail punch to it.
