Dave H Pillar of the Community United States 1436 Posts	Posted 07/20/2013 4:04 pm The Cherrypicker's Guide does reference a 1943 DDO, but not that extreme. The CPG description is "extreme extra thickness on the date & all obverse lettering". The picture in the book shows thicker numbers, but not separate numbers like in the auction.
