Does anyone see any reason for this Morgan to go for $86? It's a worn somewhat better date. I wonder how long it will take..

Wow, I have no idea. I could see it going for that price if it were a 1878-CC, but it's a 1878-S, so thats weird. Maybe the high bidder thought they were bidding on a CC.

Im guessing it has something to do with the 7 tail feathers and a certain VAM it is.

You're on the right track, but not so much the 7 tail feathers.
Jimmy, if nobody has guessed it by tomorrow, I'll share what I believe makes it valuable.

The tail feathers and the arrow stem is about as far as my vamming skills go. The close up pictures were kind of a give away, but the olive brach looks like it might not be connected all the way either on the far left for the leaves. Thats about all I have for vamming lol.

1878-S Long Nocks, whichever VAM, are scarce as hen's teeth. I'm surprised it went that cheap.

I think it may have been the 1:00 AM EST ending time for the auction that caused it to go that cheap. I wish I would've bid just a bit higher, oh well can't do anything about that now.
