Here's a 1793 Wreath Cent that I recently pulled from a jewelry store bowl of old, low-priced coins; ones that appeared to have damage, excessive wear, cleaning, etc. There was a coins sign in the window, so I stopped. I was hoping to find a counterstamped coin or two in the mix. Not so sadly, this was what I found.

The coin looks better in hand, having mostly even wear. I suspect that it may have been someone's pocket piece. The edge is readable. The date and LIBERTY are barely present. Two of my EAC acquaintances pegged it as an S-11a.

My pics are of poor quality. It only took me about two hours to figure out how to size the files! Also, the background is actually red felt that somehow, magically turns green ...

$32 ... The seller used a gray sheet, too, when totaling up my purchases. There were some other, decent coins in the lot I bought, as well. One of them is an 1831 N-12 with a large Cud. I'll post that one when we get to that date ... If I can muster up enough patience to post the pics!

The little half sisters need some representation here, so just under the wire, here is my contribution.

She's a Cohen-3 in a PCGS G6 holder.

I never thought I'd have this date, but this coin called to me. Yes, she shows her years, but so gracefully!

Only three 1793 cents? I expected more than that...

Wanted to put this up before I forgot. Got it for pretty cheap, it's dateless but the large crack in liberty tells me its a 94.

Well here's my first in the series and she's quite "worn slick". Just imagine how many thirsts she helped quench....

A ghostly image on that 1794, Paleoguy45. It's something of a haunting reminder of the disappearing, bygone days ...

Henry, I have been placing some of my better coins up for adoption (as you are well aware), and my 179x coppers now reside in a much finer collection. Although no longer mine, I will post them now for the last time on CCF.
