The tomahawk suggests that the issuer may have been a tobacconist or a maker of leather products. The host coin is very close to mint state. Report this Post to the Staff

Until 1849 rolls around, I'll sit back and enjoy watching the large cents morph from Matron Head into Braided Hair. In the meantime, here is the last of the Classic Head Half Cents.
