I am putting together a run of Silver Certificate bills as a gift for someone. I will admit I am a noob when it comes to bills. Out of my comfort zone. With coins I refer to numismedia FMV, NGC and PCGS to get an idea if I am in the ball park cost wise on an unfamiliar coin. Is there a similar, updated, resource for silver certs?

The "stumbling block" that caused me to post this is I am after the 1935G With Motto. A lot of the other bills I was able to acquire at less than suggested value using the following site for reference:

http://www.uscurrencyauctions.com/$1notes.htm

Same site says I should be at $18+ for the bill I'm after in UNC condition. I have offered $20-$25 for one several places and people act like I insulted their families!

So tell me, am I the crazy one here? Help

Green Sheet has it around $25-$30.......I'd expect you to have to pay $30-$40 depending on how nice of an example.

Ok, so it appears the reference was a little low on some of the bills then. I feel a little better now, thank you :)
