Just started my 3 box of cents from my latest $300 pick up of Canadian cents. All from a few local charity drives. So far from the 2 boxes and 2 rolls the notable finds are...2 x 2006 No P No Logo Magnetic cents, 1985 pointed 5, several 40 & 50's Canadians as well as 19 wheat cents. The oldest wheat so far is a 1919S mint. For those of you who also collect US varieties...I also pulled a 1998 WAM and around a dozen minor DDR's.

So far...so good.

I will update later with additional goodies if I pull any.

Thanks BadToTheBone. I have been lucky enough to pull 2 x 1998, 1 x 2000 and earlier this year I found the 1999 WAM. I have the tri-fecta. My latest 98 WAM has a few corrosion marks sadly but I hit it with some Verdicare to neutralize it and will go from there. A few soaks in hot HP has removed quite a bit of it as well but there is still a few small spots that are pretty much cemented in. I would rather leave them be then try to pry them off and leave a pot mark.

on to bag/box #4.

From bag/box #3 my keepers were:

Canadian:
1938
1939
1944
2 x 1948 (both A off Dent
5 x other 1940's
14 x 1950's (nothing special)
Quite a few AU - BU coins I set aside to make rolls up at a later date
1964 extra bud/spine
a few hanging numbers from various dates

US:
I have about 20 rolls of US cents I'm saving to check thoroughly at a later date.
From the rolls I did open of random mixed coins I did pull 6 wheat cents with the oldest being a 1944S
I hope a few others are mixed in the still to search rolls.

I also managed about 62% copper from the box.

I will let you know if any great finds come out of bag #4 of 11

Congrats on the WAMs! I haven't been lucky enough to find one yet. One day *fingers crossed*

Good luck with the rest of your batch!

Thank you for the replies.

Bags 4 and 5 held nothing special. 60-65% copper and about 25 wheat cents between the 2 bags. A few 40's and 50's Canada cents as well. Nothing much worth mentioning.

On to the next bag. I took a couple days off to do research on another hobby...back at it.

I will update with any finds.
