I wouldn't bet on it but that is a bummer same thing happened to me last year with 2011 dimes. I just kept what I wanted (a few rolls). Good Luck in what ever you do.

Put them on ebay...probably get someone to buy them and make a few bucks...make sure you charge them for shipping

I wouldn't do it. Look here:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Box-of-Unci...em3cd01055d0

$250 box sold for $300 with free S&H

This is the ONLY boxI saw in the sold listings!

This person got $300-250fv =$50
$50 - $36 for ebay & paypal fees (12% total) =

$14 - shipping, I don't know the cost of sending that, but it looks like he probably lost money already.
After shipping, which is probably in the ballpark of that $14, he still has shipping materials, gas money, not to mention $250 tied up until his paypal transfers money to his bank (3-4 day minimum due to patriot act)

Even if there WAS any money left after that, I'm sure it doesn't pay well for the time spent doing it.

I had another similar post like this recently. I want to help people not get burned by ebay. Premium =/= profit when there's a middle man! You have to look at % premium. If the % premium is around 30% face value or less, you lose too much to eBay/paypal fees. I would say to make it at all worth your time it needs to be at LEAST 2x face premium. I sell ikes on ebay and I get 2x face + and sometimes I feel like its not worth the time and effort.

Bottom line, it has about a 20% premium. Too low to profit on ebay.

I just realized that guy sold 3! now I'm even more interested in knowing the shipping cost and finishing my calculation. Does anyone know what it costs to ship $250 in dimes?

Wow, that means $14 - $12.35 = $1.65. Once you factor in the gas for the trip, you go negative!
