Did you see it returns to stock today?
I checked on morning - was still "Awaiting Stock"...

Hi folks!

I received the "Modern Superman" coin today and it looks much better than the image on the mint's site. The background is frosted and Superman (the younger) looks great soaring at you over it.

I took off the tape since it obscures the coin, and as Northerncoins mentioned, it comes off easily leaving no trace.

One word of caution though, because once the tape has been removed the coin can fall out of its place, if you tip the display holder forward. So if you're moving it around, always tilt the acrylic box towards the back and the coin won't fall out.

So far I'm impressed with the coin and the display box and packaging. I'm looking forward to the arrival of the rest of the set.

Congrats, NuMoosemalist, with the Superman coin.

RCM doing the way, that leaves always something for improvement

The special display cases - this is very good.
But why to do them this way, that the coin will fail out of a holder?
If I'll take standard RCM case (and others) and will tilt it - the coin will stay in its place...

I am still waiting for Autumn maple canopy coin. Why do I have this feeling it is going to be awhile before I see any Superman coins in my mailbox. :/

tristen1230,
Strange you still have not gotten the Autumn Canopy when I see that coin in many post offices plus Mint Boutiques.

@MoneyPenney - Still says processing. And under the coin new order. I know with the previous coin it was never marked shipped even though it came but it has not came yet. Maybe since it still says awaiting stock instead of sold out they are still processing orders. :/

I just received the Autumn Canopy from the mint today. Yours is probably coming soon.

Incidentally, I am waiting for a second Autumn Canopy to be shipped from C/A. Ordered almost 6 weeks ago.

I am glad I am not the only one. I got scared since there was no back order alert they may have skipped over my order or that.

Here's a video of the unboxing of superman coins, stamps, and booklet from a fan. I can see how the coin can fall out of its holder when the display case is tilted. Anyone receive the gold coin yet?

So far that is the only thing I see that needs improvement, Mint if your reading this, we want more display cases like this but fix the loose coin issue... and not just with tape thank you...

RCM MInt ordered Superman coins are all gone except for VINTAGE Superman breaking chains

Gone in 60 seconds...even faster than I expected

The buyers who get stock from the waiting list will be in the minority I'm sure....Im on waiting for 5 coins but I would be surprised if I got them...however there is always a chance if youre on the list and the coins arent declared SOLD OUT

also got a Superman comic this week circa 1961 off ebay. Comic books from this era are going through the roof these days
