ive tried calling the RCM and both times I've been told that even as an MC member there is no pre order list for the new Superman release...so how is it that some people are getting calls from mint reps offering to help them with this?

Do you have a rep? If you do, you should call him. Calling the RCM is no use as the front line staff don't have inside information. You need to either talk to a supervisor or a rep.

With regard to the next Superman coins, I can't imagine what would justify another set based on this theme. The mint never ceases to amaze me. I'll wait to see them, and if I'm impressed...

For MC members, there is a different number to call, and as for me the rep I spoke to said that even as MC although he cant pre-order one for me, he said he will save one for me and I can call thursday. I am guessing that the rep itself will keep one from the one he has to sell for me as he gave me his name and said to ask for him. From previous knowledge I know that the reps get a certain number of coins assigned to them so they can sell those. (probably make commission as well) and that is why they hold/reserve it for members as online orders there is no commission. In my past experience for haunted canada coin, the rep I called said he had 1 left, and I wanted more so he asked couple people and said there are none left, or reserved already.

There are regular MC members and there are Most Favored MC members who will get coins ahead of regular MC members. They get calls on new releases that are difficult to get ahead of regular MC members.
You have to keep your rep happy by giving him enough business. Then he will scratch your back
You do not get something from nothing. This is entirely a quid pro quo.

well I guess I will be depending on my usual lucky instincts when it comes to the next Superman release...I dont have a rep but if someone of you would email refer me to their personal name of a rep that I could call..i will make it worth your while if it results in a solid pre order for me..I am just not a regular NCLT customer like most of you..just a regular MC member

So are the other 3 silver coins, its definitely not as good as last year, plus in my opinion the packaging is garbage, last years coins had really nice display packaging, and the gold one seems like it came in a sleeve and then box, these are simply the $100for$100 most cardboard boxes. specially for an $800+ coin (with tax)

I can almost guarantee it won't do as good, but based on demand and popularity, it should still sell out and sell for a decent premium. Unfortunately I am really disappointed in the packaging, I was expecting something better or atleast what was done last year.

I agree, the design is really poor on the new gold coin imo. And the packaging is a real set back from the first superman coins. I'll still be getting all the silver ones though.

Also I noticed this has a $100 face value, versus the $75, could it be that there are changes in composition as well?

Thanks for visual info, appreciate. So, this is the person who was suspected in selling fakes Well, need to say - not extra attractive coins (the theme isn't fresh), imo. The $20 could be paired nicely to the 2013 "Modern Superman", but why to buy the second coin with more or less the same style. Now, $10 much more interesting, at least it tries to copy 1-st Superman issue cover (am I correct?) And the gold one.... There is imagination and creativity in the design - take a look at the flying away buttons. But red on black logo? It looks like "sporty" badge on the budget car. (Toyota Corolla "S" ?) but do not worry - seems to be a "hit", similar to all limited and trendy items.
