The seller have the $10 Superman coin:

The $20coin:

The $15 coin:

The gold Superman coin:

The $15 and $20 coins look like designs from last year. Pretty disappointing. The $10 coin looks nice since it is from Action Comic #1.

The $10 1/2oz classic superman coin is nice imo. I will be getting that one for the collection. Il pass on the other but maybe try and grab a gold one to re-sell

MoneyPenney, thanks for posting the links for the four coins.

I have to say that the designs may actually look good on the actual coins.

However, I am somewhat perplexed by the gold coin which has Superman's chest and only his jutting chin. Hopefully it's not as bad as my first impression.

Also, it's still a puzzlement to me as to why we have these coins, but hey, what else can we expect from our favourite Crown Corporation.

Nevertheless, despite all my negative blather, my wife says that I'm still going to buy the set.

She's usually right...

It's obvious that all the presales are from Canada Post private outlets owners who are going to withhold these coins for their own gains, which probably is against Canada Post policies. I guess the same large RCM dealers who regularly withholds hot items will do the same procedure with these coins. The RCM is one of the few companies that doesn't enforce fair dealer pricing policies, who else allows their dealers to sell products above msrp?

I cannot afford the comic (currently at $1.75M):

But at least I can afford the coin.

the gold coin might look better than we think..the picture is not that good..the Black Superman image is unusual and provocative...similar to the black Spider Man phase..I like the coin..I think that perhaps the 10.00 coin will be the most popular of the silver coins for sure ,this time ,because the image is the coolest...anyways I look fwd to getting some of everything...thanks for the great uploads moneypenney

It's done quite often in the auto industry when special release/limited edition versions of cars are released. It's been done with Corvettes, Camaros, some Mustangs, Vipers, etc. They have a name for the "extra charge" (it's escaping me at the moment) but it is basically the same thing.

I know some auto dealers have sold popular models to their own leasing companies, but they take a chance on head office finding out that's why most companies advertise dealers may sell for less than msrp. in their main adds.

well at least it is in the fantasy coin section..you would think that for the trouble the Chinese go through to fake these coins they would just put in the extra effort to make them perfect fakes. They are very close in the design. If they made them from pure silver they could fool any number of people....The seller however apparantly doesn't own a magnet which besides their need for quick cash obviates their sense of integrity but there but for the grace of the almighty go I......

I love all the silver Superman coins but I think the $15 one takes the cake for this release.

that coin doesn't turn me on but I appreciate we all have different tastes.......I like the 10 buck old green car coin which I'm sure will sellout a heck of a lot faster than the vintage breaking chains model......I wonder how many we will be allowed to buy......i think I will have to enroll my kids on this project.....

I agree, that one will be popular, actually as all others.
Something like $20 premium for coin (as the 2013), so we have to buy many of them to make nice profit.

@Cassidy77: Oh for sure, I love all the designs to be honest, except for the gold one. I agree with you 100%, I think that $10 one is gonna go quick. That would be a great collectible piece for those who cannot afford the first comic. It looks 100x better than the vintage one from last year.

I like the $10 coin with Action #1 the best, even more than the gold coin. I wished they had use that design for the gold coin.
