Well they're obvoiusly really old and cool but also in terrible condition, but I think the bidders dont care so much about condition adn are interested in finding a variety or rariety

I especially like the Colonial "Canada" coin!

Seems like they listed any coin with detail separately. But even the ones that they did list seem like early federal issues.

I think they're selling hope--that something in there may be a (very) early US cent. I seriously doubt it though.

That would be a good explanation for the broad range of decades that these coins come from, and the apparent wide difference in states of corrosion, from "acidic swamp" to "dry sands."
