If you keep an eye on ebay, they do turn up every once in a while, but you need to have patience

Quote: This set inspired me this morning to put together a 7070 set, before I have always done 2x2 and plastic sheets Same for me. I'm guessing when the update comes out the demand will be high.

I wonder what coins a new 7070 will add, and hopefully they will renumber the pages. I used the 7070 coin list as a guide and made my own version. Some I left out. For example: Shield nickel with or without rays didn't seem like a different type to me. I also left out others coin versions. And I added $1 type 2, and a $3 to the gold page.

I see 7070s on ebay bougilliams be forewarned though they can be pricey though fetching $40-50 for just the album with how long they have been out of print.

I would rather wait and get the updated one. Too bad they can't make it so you can see both sides of the coin. I already see myself trying to do 2 of them. One with OBV showing and one with REV showing.

Quote: 7070s show both sides. Thanks. I did not see that and since they don't sell them I couldn't get a description. That saves me half.

I really enjoy my 7070 and yes, it's good to see both sides of the coin!

Oops. Didn't pass on my congrats. Actually I'm envious. It's very nicely done, a real credit to its curator. Love the gold page, wish I was doing one. Got some quarters, halves and a large cent to complete mine and am thinking of adding a custom page to add some coins that I'd see as types, but Dansco did not.

Quote: tpg22, Thanks. I did not see that and since they don't sell them I couldn't get a description. That saves me half. here is a page front and back from my Morgan dollar album. All album pages are labeled on the front, and blank on the back. This is true for all denominations and all/most brands of album. (The clear covers were removed for pictures)

Thank you Fuzzy317. Now I'm sitting here already planning to break open some of my extra proof sets I picked up along the way. I like collecting Walking Liberty halves but this would be interesting to do on the side. There goes a 1958 proof set (damaged OGP), 1964 proof set (picked it up at spot), early 70's, a Bicentennial, a few later ones, ..... All for a good cause.
