I don't collect anything but US coins, but find lots of others while roll searching, so I am unfamiliar with them. This recent find is different from any other Canadians that I have found before. Any help with what is the significance of the 1952-2002 date? Thanks!

Yes, all coins from this year bear a double-date for the Golden Jubilee.

As a result, it's possible to (very carefully) make a dateless Magician's coin with one of these and a "normal" penny.

That same coin comes with a 'P' under the Queen and to the right of the date.
