NuMoosematist Pillar of the Community Canada 867 Posts	Posted 10/15/2013 09:38 am Guys, these "Backorder" emails are not shipping notices. They are "Order shipment updates". I'm actually glad they send them out. Otherwise one is left in the dark, wondering whatever happened to that coin I ordered. For example: At the end of June I ordered the "$20 Fine Silver Coin - Maple Leaf Impression". You know the one with all the tiny silver maple leaves and the enamelled big red Maple leaf in the center. On September 21, I received the dreaded "Backordered" email. But at least I knew I was not forgotten. This past Friday, I got a "Shipping confirmation" email, and low and behold the coin will be delivered today! So the delay was not too long after all. Needless to say we're looking forward to seeing the coin. Report this Post to the Staff

I hope your right. @ pocket change 50 Unfortunately there is no way to predict when the backordered coin will be shipped. I'm still waiting for the "Dreamcatcher", which I ordered in May. I received the dreaded shipping update for it over a month before the I got the backordered notice for the "Maple Leaf Impression". Makes no sense! Anyway I hope you get your Piedfort soon. I think it looks really nice on an angle when all the finishes hit the light and you can see everything. I'm starting to really enjoy this coin. I was under the impression that you couldn't pay over the phone and you physically had to go to the post office and pay right now if you wanted to use their "direct ship" service.
