Wornslick Pillar of the Community United States 1304 Posts	Posted 10/08/2013 9:06 pm The next Morgan on my buy list is the 1893P Morgan. I know that the 1893S is counterfeited a lot but what about the 1893P? Is this a coin I should be looking into slabbed? Thanks in advance. Report this Post to the Staff

Nathancrh1 Pillar of the Community Canada 785 Posts	Posted 10/08/2013 10:04 pm If you have doubts about authenticity on any high grade or rare coins then buying slabed coins from a well known dealer is your safest bet as slabs have also been faked. I'd call it a "healthy skepticism of anything raw" coin, and a greater likelihood of seeing a fake than more-common issues. Report this Post to the Staff

Its the 2nd or 3rd most valuable P mint if I remember correctly.
