It happens in November.

If this is what the design of the "St. George and Dragon Bank note" coin is based on, then I think I will like it a lot.

Can't confirm or deny. But rest assured your guess if you compare to old one for the $5 bill, you will know if your assumption is correct.

Thanks for the heads up...the colored "Ungulate" coin might be a buy for me,depending on how it looks and how big the Antlers are ;)

I'm also looking forward to coin number two in the bank note series. The first never really got much attention, because it was released the same time as the allegory. But I have to say that I think the banknote series is great.

I love the bank note series as well and really look forward to seeing another coin with St. George and the Dragon on it.

When I last explored the Mint's FTP site, I saw what looked like a new Polar bear coin. When I went the next day to look at it again it was gone. It wasn't colored and it had a $ 5 face value. almost sounds like a bullion coin.

Hmmm another new series. Or was that two new series? Will the polar bear and caribou be a series? I wonder if December will be a slow one. With the holidays no one really wants to work. They do have their holiday coins out already.

I'm not a huge fan of colored coins, but hopefully the Mint will do a decent job on the Polar Bear. I will be getting one.
