@ jw, shipping rates for govmint are a tad high. But if you order more than one product, they will combine shipping. They send priority airmail, so delivery is prompt. Here is some info on their rates:

Hmmmm... it appears this link needs to be copied to your browser to work properly also...

The mintage of the Polar Bear set seems too high, a mintage of 7500 for a gold coin is "mass production" in today's standard. And if the coin is the same size as the other 1/4oz gold coin then it will be 2cm in diameter. I wonder if it is easy to tell the difference between proof and BU on such a small coin.

Need to think more about this one.

Is this the tradition of hunting coin? If so, APMEX has it...

APMEX wont ship to Canada... at least not on ebay.
If you buy from their web site they will, but it will cost you HUGE!
They only ship Fedex, minimum $300 order plus about $50 to $75 "brokerage" or "stick it to you tax" :-(
I HATE FEDEX

Correct,
but this is the first one, and this suppose to be series.
So according the people, the next one coming in November release. And RCM's price not much differs (or almost the same actually) as by APMEX.

The 2014 O Canada 1/2oz and 1 oz look good but cardboard boxes? Come on RCM.

The coloured Caribou and Polar Bear 1 oz coins are also nice. Reminds me of the bullion coins that have been coloured post mint in the past.

The gold plating of the outer ring on the 'new' 2013 1/2oz O Canada set adds nothing to the coins for me.

25k mintage on the 1.5oz Polar bear is way to high as is the $124.95 price.

The 1 oz pond hockey coloured is nice too. The 1/4oz whales (life in the north) is kinda plain and looks a lot like other coins that have been issued. I guess not much you can do to make whales look significantly different. Price at 34.95 is reasonable.

I got a chuckle out of the note on the recycled 2013 O Canada set. It says that all the coins and box with ship 'at once'. I bet their idea of 'at once' is not the same as mine or any other reasonable person.

Also of note, the 11th and 12th coin in the O Canada series are in this quite large release. That seems to indicate that it is thankfully the last release of 2013.

Yes, the email I got included the line "I am pleased to announce the final official RCM launch of 2013!" So next month the credit card will get a break. Oh, wait, Christmas.... Darn!
