Right now the paper money.. is in a slump.. if you get 80% of book value you have done well these days.

With respect to the M/C $5.. I haven't heard of any M/C signatures on any of the new poly notes (don't think there will be any)

There are M/C $10 notes... and at some point there will be a change over... would be neat to get the change over prefix.

1 bundle = 100 notes

1 brick = 10 bundles = 1000 notes

10 bricks = 100 bundles = 100 000 notes - very close to what is called a super block (16 bricks)

That's a whole lotta notes you're going to have at one time...

Received my first radar. I told my nice neighbourhood bank teller what notes I am looking for, ie radars, etc. She received a new bundle and pulled a nice radar for me - gem UNC. She will keep me posted when she gets interesting serial numbers. She is super awesome!

1188: I believe the premium is around $25 - $30 per brick...on ordering from the bank..

Coinsplus... You are sitting on a gold mine if you have tellers that will look through bundles for you.. just the sheer volume they can go through is an advantage...make sure you thank her for her troubles.. and nice lil RADAR you got there!

...and I was VERY lucky:

TWO radars (3 and 4 digit):

a couple of keepers "four 7's" and one "near repeater":

and five replacement notes that were placed in the bundles out of sequence usually after a '99' note:

Hi Malibu, great find! For the sequence of the first note and last note....it does not seem that it goes from: ####000-####999.

It looks to me that the brick had two different ranges for the serial number.

@agcoinau: yes, I do take her out for Starbucks breaks. My treat!
